Hotel is in a very nice building, located close to main activities. Rooms have character. But Hotel seems ghosted. We stayed for 4 days and didn’t see people much. Not once our room was cleaned, towels and toiletries changed etc. There was a fridge, which was not working because there was no power outlet for it! No remote control of the TV was ever found for our room. Only one receptionist guy was very friendly, others didn’t even care to look at us and after our “Gunaydin” responded unwillingly. The cheese shop next to the hotel is nice and the managing lady was very caring.

Great historical hotel in a former Russian-built bulding. My room on the third floor does not have a normal window, there is window that is at the top level of the room, accessed by a stair. The room is modern though not luxurious with Bathroom is modern with a walk in shower. The corridors and the stairways are unique, with woodwork on the ceilings and wide, stone stairways. Exterior has some good stonework as well, sad to see we do not have that these days.

It is a beautiful hotel. I loved my room. It is clean and spacious. Everyone works at the hotel is very nice and professional. It is located quiet area, but walking distance to Kars castle, cafe, shops and restaurants.

basic hotel no AC, no lift due to it being a registered building, very nicely maintained, decorated well, clean, communal areas to sit, comfortable. Breakfast is dissapointing but there's plenty coffee shops around the area, location is fab.
